TENDER NOTICE                                                                                                                    19th FEBRUARY, 201999

The Authority through the Regional Manager Mombasa hereby invites bids from eligible registered contractors in F/Y 2017/19 in the respective constituency and category: Women, Youths and Persons with Disability Registered by National Treasury to submit bids for spot improvement works as shown below.

N/B: No bidder shall be awarded more than one contract and bidders for the Special Group need not to be pre‐qualified for the Agpo reserved tenders, they required to be registered by the National Treasury for the specific group:‐Youth,Women &Persons living with disability .

The Following must be submitted together with the tender:‐

Certified copy of Certificate of incorporation.

Valid copy of Registration with National Construction Authority in Category ‘’8’’ and above. Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate.

Copy of VAT and PIN Certificate.

Current Six months bank statement in the company name.

Proof of having undertaken works of similar nature in the past 2 years, completion certificate must be attached.

Dully filled and signed antifraud and anticorruption form.

Dully filled and signed environmental and social commitment form. Current workload.

Schedule of the key personnel, minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering for the persons to be engaged in undertaking the works.

Equipment holding, if owned then attach proof of ownership or valid lease agreement for hired equipment or agreement from mechanical and transport fund department.

For AGPO Tenders (Youth, Women, PWD) Attach Registration certificate from National Treasury for small engineering works.

Certified copy of a recent CR12 form 12‐months. Dully signed pretender site visit certificate.

Copy of Receipt issued after purchase of hard copy tender document. Serialization of tender document.

Certification must be original either from commissioner of oath or advocate of the High Court. Signed and properly filled written power of attorney form (Certified by commissioner of oaths). Properly filled confidential business questionnaire.

Properly filled and signed form of tender. Signed and stamped bills of quantities.

Turnover and liquid Assets Supported by Audited Accounts for the previous two (2) years. Tender shall only be signed by the authorized agent stated in the written power of attorney.

Bidders shall be required to converge at the Regional Manager’s Office in the respective date and time before proceeding for pretender site visit.

Registered contractors in the above listed Constituencies, Women, Youths and persons with Disability Registered by National Treasury may obtain free soft copy of the same from www.kerra.go.ke or from procurement office.

Bid documents dully filled shall be submitted in plain sealed envelopes indicating the contract Name and constituency, addressed to:

And deposited in the tender box at the Regional manager’s office located along Shimanzi Road, Works Building, and Third floor on or before Tuesday 5th March, 2019 at 10.00am. Bids shall be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders who choose to attend.
