Mandatory Pre-Tender site Visits shall be carried out on 29th January 2019, 9.00 am starting from the Regional office and a certificate issued for the contractors in attendance which Must be attached to the Tender Document.
The Following must be submitted with the tender; more details (refer section 1.2 Instruction to tenders and Section 111 qualification Criteria)
- COPY OF CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION
- VALID COPY OF TAX COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE,
- COPY OF REGISTRATION WITH NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AUTHORITY.
- VALID COPIES OF VAT AND PIN CERTIFICATES.
- PROOF OF BANK ACCOUNT IN THE TENDERER'S NAME.
- A CURRENT COPY CR12
- YW&D CATEGORY MUST ATTACH VALID CERTIFICATE FOR SPECIAL GROUP-YOUTH, WOMEN, DISABLED CERTIFICATES
Duly filled Tender Document shall be submitted in plain sealed envelopes (One Document per envelope) marked with Contract Number and Road Name addressed to the:

Lamu Region,
Kenya Rural Roads Authority
P.O. Box 102-80500,
Lamu.
Or be deposited in the Tender Box located within the Regional Managers offices on or before 10.00hrs of Thursday 6th February 2020 Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of those Tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend.
Please note that the Employer will not be bound to the lowest bidder.
