Date 12^TH MARCH 2018 The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility for Management, Development, Rehabilitation, and Maintenance of Rural Roads in Kenya. Authority here by invites bids from eligible construction Companies to bid for Routine maintainace and Spot improvement works for the following roads in KeRRA Meru Region, to be financed by the Government of Kenya through 22% RMLF For financial year 2017-2018 in Igembe Central Constituency.

Contract estimates are provided in Tender Document.

Bidders are requested to obtain Tender Document in form of CD from Regional Procurement Office- Meru or download the document from KeRRA website www.kerra.go.ke  during working hours 8.00am -4.30 pm as from19th Monday 2018.

There will be Mandatory pre-tender site visit on the 19th Monday MARCH 2018 starting from Kangeta CDF office at 9.am:

Bidders must ensure the site visit certificate are signed by the respective CRO for the constituencies where the Roads are located.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

1. Certified Copy of certificates of incorporation.
2. Certified Copy of valid Tax compliance certificate.
3. Certified Copy of valid VAT Registration certificate.
4. Certified Copy of valid Pin Registration certificate.
5. Certified license with National Construction Authority.
6. Proof of financial soundness: Financial Statements.
7. Proof of attending mandatory pre-tender site visit for the works.
8. All documents must be bound and serialized, pages indicated for each bid submitted.
9. Properly and dully filled form of bid; stamped and/or sealed; signed with someone authorized to do so.
10. Filled and signed Appendix to form of Bid
11. Schedules of Supplementary Information, All forms filled appropriately.
12. Properly and dully filled Bills of Quantities; stamped and/or sealed; signed with someone authorized to do so.
13. Schedules of Equipment Holding and attachments of log books or proof of lease agreement.
14. Professional & Technical Personnel schedules, CV and certificates filled and attached appropriately.
15. Properly and dully filled tender securing declaration forms; stamped and/or sealed; signed with someone authorized to do so.( special groups only)
16. Certificate of Registration with Target Group issued by the National Treasury(Special groups only)
17. Certified Copy of ID and CR 12.
18. Signed Affidavit,
19. Signed declaration form.
20. Validity period properly indicated as per tender document.

NOTE TO BIDDERS

1. Any error noted when calculating the tender sum will lead to preliminary eliminations of the bidder
2. Any document not serialized for each page submitted will be eliminated at the preliminary stage.
3. Any alteration without countersigning by the authorised person will lead to elimination.
4. Technical criteria is indicated in the tender document.
5. Bidders must ensure that their completed tender documents are enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with Tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box situated at Kenya Rural Roads Authority Meru Regional Office, Mwendantu Road, and Meru Town or addressed to:
