The Authority, Murang’a Region, hereby invites sealed bids from prequalified contractors in the years 2019-2021 in Gatanga Constituency for improvement of the following roads:

The invitation to tender should be read together with the instruction to tenderers in the tender document.

No bidder shall be awarded more than one contract per constituency in one financial year, unless it has been certified as substantially complete.
Interested Bidders can access the tender documents from the authority’s website www.kerra.go.ke as from 19/02/2020.The bid documents will also be available from the Regional Office upon payment a non‐refundable fee of Ksh. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand) payable into account No.1114343196, Account Name KeRRA-A-I-A,KCB Moi Avenue Branch or by banker’s Cheque against an official receipt of the authority for each of the documents.
A Mandatory Pre-tender site visit will be held on Thursday 20th February 2020.The meeting points shall be at the KeRRA Muranga Regional Office at 9.00 am.

Or deposited in the tender box at the Murang’a Regional office, so as to be received on or before 10.00 am on Wednesday 26th February, 2020. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or Representatives who wish to attend.
The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Tenders and to cancel the Tendering process at any time prior to the award of the Contract without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Tenderer or Tenderers or any obligation to inform the affected Tenderer(s) of the grounds for the action and is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
