NOTICE TO ALL PRE-QUALIFIED ROADWORKS CONTRACTORS IN MAKUENI REGION PROJECTS.

INVITATION TO TENDER NOTICE

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure hereby invites eligible construction companies from Makueni Region to bid for works 22% RMLF for Financial Year 2019/2020.

QUALIFICATION FOR TENDERING

The requirements for tendering are as follows:-

(a) Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation

(b) Proof of valid Registration Certificate with National Construction Authority (NCA) category 8 and above for Roadworks (Certified).

(c) Thresholds specified in the Tender Documents covering the following:-

1. Qualified Personnel (Attach CVs) (Certified copy).
2. VAT Registration (Certified copy)

• PIN Registration (Certified copy)

1. Valid Tax Compliance Certificate. (Certified copy)
2. Properly filled anti-corruption pledge form.
3. Proof of Bank Account. (Certified copy)

• Pre-qualified in the relevant category.
• Audited accounts for the last two years. (Certified copy).

1. Proof of equipment holding
2. Past Roadworks experience
3. Serialize all pages

• CR12 (Clear copy of I.D)

N/B Where certification is required; this shall be by the Commissioner of Oaths.

Procurement shall be based on the post qualification methods and the above details are mandatory and must be submitted with the priced tender.

Tender Documents will be available from KeRRA( Procurement Department) Offices situated at the KeRRA Regional Office, along the Wote – Makindu Road off 1km Road in Makueni from 05.12.2019 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1000.00 (One  Thousand Shillings Only), paid directly to Account NO: 1114343196 ,  Name: Kenya Rural Roads Authority to Kenya Commercial Bank, Moi Avenue Branch  against an official receipt of this Authority or download tender document free from the KeRRA Website www.kerra.go.ke and register in the Makueni Regional Office – Wote.

Application for Tender must be submitted in plain sealed envelopes indicating contract number and name of the constituency applied for and deposited in the tender box in KeRRA Makueni Regional Roads Office - in Wote, P.O. Box 87 – 90300, Makueni by 11.00 a.m. on or before 17.12.2019.
