KeRRA, Machakos region invites bids from eligible construction firms, pre –qualified in Machakos Region in respective constituencies and categories for Road works as outlined below.

QUALIFICATION FOR BIDDING FOR CATEGORY UNDER ALL

The requirements for bidding are as follows:

1. Prequalified under Specified Category (s) and Constituency
2. Certified Copy of Certificate of Incorporation.
3. Certified Copy NCA certificate
4. Certified Copy of PIN & VAT registration.
5. Similar previous experience for Roadworks
6. Professional and Technical personnel Minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering for the persons to be engaged in undertaking the works
7. Properly filled Anti – corruption pledge form
8. Litigation history (Current Sworn Affidavit for last 3 months)
9. Site visit Attendance Certificate.
10. Certified copy of CR12
11. Serialized document (All Pages)
12. Audited balance sheet for last 3years
13.   Equipment holding, if owned then attach proof of ownership or valid

            lease agreement for hired equipment or agreement from mechanical

      and transport fund department

14.   Fully filled Bid Document (Completeness of Bid Document)

Qualifications for those bidding for the Youth, Women and the Disabled Reserved Contracts;

They need not to be prequalified in the constituency but must provide the following;

1. Registration Certificate with National Treasury under the category of Small Works and Engineering
2. Certified Certificate of Incorporation or Registration
3. Certified Copy of PIN & VAT registration.
4. Valid Tax Compliance or Tax Exemption Certificate
5. Certified Copies of National ID or Passport
6. Certified copy of CR12
7. Certified Copy NCA certificate
8. Site visit Attendance Certificate.
9. Litigation history (Current Sworn Affidavit for last 3 months)
10. Serialized document (All Pages

Interested Prequalified and eligible bidders may download tender documents from KeRRA website www.kerra.go.ke or obtain the documents from Regional Office at Machakos, upon payment of non – refundable fee of Kshs:1,000.00 by bankers’ cheque in favor of Kenya Rural Roads Authority against an official receipt of the Authority.

Completely filled bid documents should be returned as indicated below.

1. NB. Pre-Tender site visit is mandatory.

Should be deposited in the tender box at the regional office so as to be received on or before                                       Tuesday 18^th September, 2018 at 11.00am

Opening of the tenders will take place at the same place at 11:15am on the same day in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
