NOTICE TO ALL PRE-QUALIFIED ROADWORKS CONTRACTORS IN MAKUENI REGION FOR KILOME CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS.
INVITATION TO TENDER NOTICE

The Authority hereby invites sealed bids from KeRRA – Makueni Region Prequalified Contractors For Maintenance of Roads Under Fuel Levy Constituencies Funding FY 2017-2018 for Maintenance of Roadworks in Kilome Constituency;, under 22% RMLF contracts for the under listed roadworks.

The Following must be submitted together with the tender:-

• Certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation.
• Certified copy of Certificate of Valid Registration from the National Construction Authority Cat. NCA8 and above.
• Certified copy of a Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Certified copies of VAT and PIN Certificates.
• Firms Bank Statements for past 3 Months or Proof of Bank Credit line.
• Provide certified audited for the past 3 years.
• Proof of having undertaken works of a similar nature in the past 2 years. (Not applied to the special group category).
• Current Workload.
• Schedule of the Key Personnel with their CV’s, Academic and Professional certificates.
• Equipment Holding and proof of ownership of the same or lease agreement .
• Duly signed pre-tender site visit certificate.
• Duly filled Power of Attorney.
• Properly filled Anti-corruption pledge form.
• Litigation history (Current Sworn Affidavit) within a month.

NB; In addition to the above criteria, the underlisted requirements shall apply to those bidding for works under the special target group of (Women, Youth and Persons with disabilities), who necessarily may need not have been pre-qualified as a Roadworks Contractors for KeRRA – Makueni Region.

• Certified copy of Certificate of Registration in a target group issued by the National Treasury(small works category).
• Certified copy of recent CR 12 form - 12 months.
• Copy of National Identity cards (IDs)/valid passports for all Directors of the Company.

Eligible pre-qualified Road Contractors for each of the Constituencies in the Region may obtain further information from the Regional Procurement Office, situated at the KeRRA Regional Office, along the Wote – Makindu Road off 1km Road in Makueni during normal working hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, as from Thursday, 22nd February, 2018.

A complete set of tender documents may be purchased by the pre-qualified Contractors upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 1,000/= per tender number, payable in Banker’s Cheque only in favour of ‘Kenya Rural Roads Authority’ or Download tender document free from the KeRRA Website www.kerra.go.ke and register in
the Makueni Regional Office – Wote.
Evaluation of the Tenders shall be based on post-qualification method.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number, project name and Constituency, and should be deposited in the Tender Box situated at KeRRA Kilome Constituency Roads Office - in Sultan Hamud or be addressed to:

So as to be received on or before the dates and time indicated for each of the tenders indicated above. Late submissions will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter, in the respective dates, in the presence of the Tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend at the KeRRA Kilome Constituency Roads
Office, in Sultan Hamud.
