 TENDER NOTICE 

ADDENDUM 1 DOWNLOAD

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporate established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007 with the responsibility for management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads. Kenya Rural Roads Authority Nairobi Region, wish to hereby invite bids from registered contractors in the Region and others within the special category (YWPD) for financial years 2023-2024 for the following contracts.

Bidders MUST meet the following requirements alongside other requirements contained in tender documents.

1. Attach copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (Will be verified online)
2. Attach Certified copy of incorporation certificate/Registration
3. Attach Certified Copy of recent CR12 Form-(6Months) from registrar of companies
4. Attach certified copies of Ids for directors
5. Attach Valid certified copy Current Single Business Permit
6. Attach copy of valid National Construction Authority Certificate (Will be verified online)
7. Attach authority to seek bank reference
8. Attach (Whereapplicable)validCertifiedCertificateofRegistrationwithNationalTreasuryfor

Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) in the relevant group (Women, Youth or Persons Living with Disability)

9. For PWD Tenders attach valid and certified copy of proof of registration with NCPWD
10. All pages of Bids Submitted (tender document) must be sequentially MACHINE SERIALIZED
11. All Interested bidders are required to continually check the KeRRA website www.kerra.ke/tenders for any tender addendum or clarification that may arise before the submission date
12. To enhance equity bidders shall bid for a Maximum of three (3) tenders pursuant to this tender notice Attach bid security from an authorized institution where applicable
13. There shall be NO Mandatory Pre-Tender Site Meeting; However, bidders are required to make their Own arrangements to visit site to familiarize themselves with Site and Scope of Works and thereafter collect a dully signed pre tender site visit certificate by Engineer’s Representative.

NOTE: 

Every Bidder shall be represented by one Technical Person with a Minimum qualification of a Certificate in Civil Engineering. 

The Individual MUST Bring along the following:

1. Original ID/Passport and a CERTIFIED Copy
2. CERTIFIED Copy of Certificate/Diploma/H. Dip. /Degree Certificate
3. Original Introductory letter bearing the Company letterhead and an Official Stamp authorizing them to represent the company in the pre-tender site visit. The letter shall be duly signed.

All required certified copies SHALL be certified by Commissioner of Oaths or Notaries Public. The copies of ID/Passport, Academic Certificate and introductory letters shall be retained by the Procuring Entity’s Team.

One (1) person shall only represent one (1) company per Tender

NB: The Contractor shall incur their own cost to visit site arrangements with the office and present a dully signed site acknowledgement form.

Note; The cost estimate of the proposed works has been provided in the tender document.
