TENDER NOTICE

(ADDENDUM NO 1)

UPGRADING TO BITUMEN STANDARD AND PERFORMANCE BASED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF STALLED ROAD PROJECTS UNDER ROADS 10,000 LOW VOLUME SEAL ROADS (FY 23/24)

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and the Local Dailies dated 27^th October, 2023, and the long Advert  dated 6^th November, 2023 that appeared on our website on 6^th November,2023.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following amendments for the Tenders published under the referenced Tender Notice;

1. That all the Bid Documents have been revised and uploaded to the Authorities.Bidders are required to download and use the revised documents.

2. The Authority wishes to clafify on the isuue of VOP indicies and milestones as requested by an interested bidder  as below;

• That the fixed coefficient in the table of adjustment data representing the non adjustable portion remains fixed as 50%.
• That a milestone shall be 5% of the tendered road length or 2Km whichever is lower.

3. Pre-bid site visits shall be open BUT MANDATORY and will be conducted upto the submission date. Bidders are free to visit the sites with prior arrangements with the respective KeRRA Regional Director’s office.

4. The submission date and time for ALL the tenders have been changed as per the schedule attached as annex 1

5. Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Boxes at the offices of respective Regional Directors as indicated in the initial Long Advertisement that can be downloaded from the Authority’s website and attached as annex 2.

6. All interested bidders are required to continually check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.

8. The long advert is attached as an annex to the addendum for ease of reference.

9. All other information as pertaining to the tenders remains the same.
