The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads.

The Authority, Narok Region, hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and registered contractors in Category C, D, and E in Narok Region for Maintenance of various roads for FY 2023-2024. Bidders Interested in tenders reserved for AGPO Enterprises are not required to have registered in the Region.

Tenders Security shall be required for the amount prescribed in the tender documents in the form of bank guarantee, a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licenced by insurance Regulatory Authority listed by PPRA or a guarantee issued by a financial Institution approved and licenced by the Central Bank of Kenya. Special Groups (Youth, Women and Persons with Disability) are required to fill the tender Securing Declaration Form.

No bidder shall be awarded more than one contract per constituency in one financial year, unless it has been certified as substantially complete.

The sealed bids MUST be deposited in the tender box at the Narok Regional office on or before 15th November, 2023 at 11.00am. Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter at the respective addresses in the presence of tenderers or Representatives who choose to attend.

Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.
