TENDER NOTICE

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporate established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007 with a mandate to Manage, Develop, and Maintain the rural road network in the country.

KWALE Region, wish to hereby invite bids from REGISTERED contractors in Category KeRRA/W/3/Grading and Gravelling works (Equipment Based) in the Region.

and Others within the special Category (AGPO) for Routine Maintenance projects for FY 2022/23 for the following tenders.

Bidders MUST meet the following requirements alongside other requirements contained in tender documents. 

1.To enhance equity bidders will only be Awarded One (1) tender,under this Tender Notice in the region which will be the most advantageous to the Employer.

2.Director(s) bidding under different companies for the same tender will be disqualified.

3. Pre-Tender site visit shall be Open but MANDATORY.Bidders are requested to familiarise themselves with the site before tendering through making their own personal arrangements in consultation with the Regional Director´s Office and Ensure that their pre-tender site visit certificates are signed and stamped by the Regional Director/or his representative.This  will be conducted as per the conditions of tender and instructions to Bidders Clause 7.1-Pre-tender site Visit on 4^TH November,2024.

4.MUST provide original document and a copy.

5.All Interested bidders are required to continually check the KeRRA website  www.kerra.go.ke/tenders     for any tender addendum or clarification that may arise before the submission date.

6.Errors in the pricing of the Bills of Quantities will not be corrected.Bidders with such errors will be disqualified.

NOTE

1. a) All attachments must be certified by a commissioner for oaths.  
2. b) The cost estimate of the proposed works has been provided in the tender document.
3. c) Interested contractors are advised to download tender documents for free from the KeRRA website

at www.kerra.go.ke.

1. d) Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes (one document per envelope) marked with Road Name and Tender number and deposited in their respective Tender Numbers Marked On the tender boxes situated at the Kenya Rural Roads Authority Regional Offices in Kwale and be addressed to:

 P.O. Box 139-80403,

 KWALE.

The same should be deposited in the Region tender box at the KeRRA, KWALE REGIONAL OFFICE on or before Monday 11^th November, 2024 at 11.00 am. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the same venue in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend, however, bidders may request for any information through the official line; 0716099602/ 0202403002.

 Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will

 be rejected and returned unopened.
