INVITATION TO TENDER NOTICE

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority hereby invites sealed bids from KeRRA – Laikipia Region Interested registered Roadworks Contractors and AGPO Eligible Firms/Groups, for maintenance of roadworks in Laikipia, Constituencies; under 10% & 22% RMLF, 10% MINISTER & SAVINGS funds contracts, in the Financial Year 2022/2023 for the under listed road works projects.

TO TENDERERS

1. To reduce spread of COVID -19 Pre-tender site visit will not be mandatory. Tenderers at their own responsibility and risk, are encouraged to visit and examine the Site of the Works and its surroundings, and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the tender and entering into a contract for construction of the Works. The costs of visiting the Site shall be at the Tenderer’s own expense.
2. Bidders are to attach copies of the mandatory requirements i.e. Certified copies of Certificate of incorporation, National Construction Authority Certificate category 4,5,6,7,8 and above. PIN registration certificate with VAT registration obligations, copy of valid tax compliance certificate and other documents specified in the bid document.
3. Provide (where applicable) valid certified certificate of registration with National Treasury for Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) in the relevant group (Women, Youth or Persons Living with Disability)-for PWD bidders should provide evidence of director’s registration with the National Council of People Living with Disability
4. Bidders may be required to provide the original mandatory documents before the award.
5. In addition, the Binders shall provide all information and documents required by the Employer in bid document.

Interested contractors who meet the above criteria may obtain the tender documents from KeRRA website www.kerra.go.ke for free of charge from 02 February 2023. Tenders sealed in separate envelopes to be addressed to: -

 And deposited in the tender box at the reception, so as to be received not later than 11.00 A.M or before 23^rd February 2023. Tender opening will take place immediately after closing time in the presence of Bidders who wish to attend.
