ADDENDUM NO. 1

  1. PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR IMPLEMENTATION AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT OF KeRRA’S ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK. TENDER NO: - KeRRA/08/40/46/2021-2022

 

  1. PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE REVIEW OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN COMPLIANCE WITH ISO 9001: 2015 STANDARD. TENDER NO: - KeRRA/08/40/47/2021-2022

Reference is made to the Tender Notice that appeared in the Authority’s website and The Daily Nation on 15th June, 2022.

Interested Bidders are requested to note the following clarifications;

  1. For the Tender for Provision of Consultancy Services for Implementation and Continual Improvement of KeRRA’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Tender No: - KeRRA/08/40/46/2021-2022, Item No. (i) on the Mandatory Criteria under Clause 22.1 in the Data Sheet stating “Firm must have a valid Risk Management Certification/ relevant Certification from a locally recognized certification body or any other of international recognition” is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

  1. For the Tender for Provision of Consultancy Services for Implementation and Continual Improvement of KeRRA’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Tender No: - KeRRA/08/40/46/2021-2022, Item No. (J) on the Mandatory Criteria under Clause 22.1 in the Data Sheet stating “Firm has submitted proof of similar previous experience by attaching copies of Forms of Contracts or Award Letters together with the accompanying Performance Certificates, or similar evidence of similar assignments carried out by the firm” is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

  1. For the Tender for Provision of Consultancy Services for The Review of The Quality Management System in Compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 Standard. Tender No: - KeRRA/08/40/47/2021-2022 Item No. (i) on the Mandatory Criteria under Clause 22.1 in the Data Sheet stating “Firm must have a valid ISO 9001 Certification/ relevant Certification from KENAS (Kenya Accreditation Service) or any other of international recognition” is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

“The Firm must provide valid ISO 9001 Certification/ relevant registration from National Quality Institute (NQI) for its proposed individual consultants”.

 

  1. The submission date and time for the Tender (RFP) for Provision of Consultancy Services for Implementation and Continual Improvement of KeRRA’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Tender No: - KeRRA/08/40/46/2021-2022 and the Tender (RFP) for Provision of Consultancy Services for the Review of the Quality Management System in Compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 Standard, Tender No: - KeRRA/08/40/47/2021-2022 has been revised from 30th June, 2022 to 7th July, 2022 at 11.00am.
  1. Interested bidders are required to continually check the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) website: kerra.go.ke for any tender addendums or clarifications that may arise before submission date.

  1. PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE REVIEW OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN COMPLIANCE WITH ISO 9001: 2015 STANDARD. TENDER NO: - KeRRA/08/40/47/2021-2022-Download RFP

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act 2007, with the responsibility of management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of Rural Roads.

The Authority hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Tenders for Provision of Consultancy Services for Implementation and Continual Improvement of KeRRA’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and the Provision of Consultancy Services for the Review of The Quality Management System in Compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 Standard.

Bidders are advised to download the Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents from the Authority’s website www.kerra.go.ke and PPIP Portal www.tenders.go.ke with effect from 17th June, 2022.

 

Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Name, Tender Number and deposited in the Tender Box located at 3rd Floor, South Wing, Barabara Plaza Block B, Mazao road, Opposite KCAA building or be addressed and posted to the address Indicated below on or before 30th June, 2022 at 11.00am.

 

Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter on 30th June, 2022 at the Ground Floor Board Room Barabara Plaza Block B, Mazao road, Opposite KCAA building in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

Bids not received at the submission venue by the closing date and time will not be accepted for opening and will be rejected and returned unopened.

Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit of KeRRA at the address below during working hours from 09:00 to 16:00 Hours local time Monday to Friday.
